Honor Roll Policy

Honor roll is a recognition for academic work. Eligible students will be named after each marking period. Students who make honor roll have their names proudly displayed outside the main office on the first floor.

Honor Roll Policy

To recognize academic achievement, [School Name] maintains an Honor Roll for students in grades [insert applicable grades, e.g., 3–8]. Honor Roll is determined at the end of each marking period and is awarded in two categories: Highest Honor Roll and First Honors.

Athletic Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applies to all core subjects (Reading, Math, Writing, Science, Social Studies).
  • Applies to all special subjects (Art, Music, Physical Education, etc.).
  • Students must have a grade of C (70) or higher in every subject, including specials, conduct, and work habits.Students with suspensions or serious disciplinary issues during the marking period are not eligible.

Honor Roll Categories:

Highest Honor Roll
All A’s (90–100) in every subject.

First Honors
Combination of A’s and B’s, with no grade lower than a B (80–89).
