Student Government
Allen M. Stearne School will offer to its scholars a school-elected Stearne Student Council to scholars in grades 6th through 8th. The Stearne Student Council will be a small group of school leaders responsible for planning school-wide activities, including fundraisers, field trips, our end-of-the-year 8th-grade class trip, and the Commencement Day Ceremony. Our Student Council members are role models for the entire Stearne School community.
The Allen M. Stearne Student Council is a school-elected group comprising scholars from grades 6 through 8. This council serves as a leadership team within the school, tasked with organizing and managing a variety of school-wide activities. These activities include planning fundraisers, coordinating field trips, and overseeing the end-of-the-year 8th-grade class trip. Additionally, the council plays a pivotal role in organizing the Commencement Day Ceremony, ensuring that these significant events are memorable and well-executed.
Members of the Student Council are viewed as role models within the Stearne School community, demonstrating leadership and responsibility. The current Student Government includes President Aria Sharps, Vice President Yaretzi Vidal Ramos, Treasurer Nevaeh Robinson, and Secretary Nafis Edwards. Each member has specific responsibilities that contribute to the council’s success: Aria Sharps, as President, leads the council and represents the student body; Yaretzi Vidal Ramos, as Vice President, assists the President and helps coordinate activities; Nevaeh Robinson, as Treasurer, manages the council’s finances and oversees budgeting; and Nafis Edwards, as Secretary, keeps accurate records of meetings and communications. Together, they work to enhance the overall student experience at Allen M. Stearne School.

Keeps accurate records of meetings, maintains communication, and handles administrative tasks.
